When I was 12 I saw the fugliest brochure ever to save the dolphins and I thought damn, dolphins deserve better (well, all good causes do).
I decided to study all the ingredients needed to make an impact. First a mix of psychology + business in Maastricht. Then how to make my ideas memorable in Miami Ad School.
In the past 4 years, I put it all into practice while working with Serviceplan Innovation Team, using new tech and a lot of craft to make an impact across industries such as women's health, sustainability, inclusive fintech, agriculture and accessibility. Often art direction. Sometimes copy and strategy. Always ready to adapt. During my time with SPIO, our work was recognized with 800+ international awards including D&AD, Cannes Lions, Clio, Webby, SXSW, and Fast Company among others.
When I’m not committed to the cause I’m really just a chill guy. I like painting, wikipedia deep dives, and smuggling over 100 beers from Belgium to prove a point to my German colleagues. Because while I did grow up in the US, it was in a Belgian household stocked with chocolate, BDs, the occasional pêche au thon, and frenglish. I’m now back in Bruxelles and looking for partners who care as much as I do about good causes and craft (and good beer).
